Hello families! Our day began with reading The Land of Stories. What happened in our story today? Then we had literacy centres. What centres did you go to today? After recess and snack, we had music, gym, and math. What did we do in music and gym today? During math, we learned a new card game called "Subtraction War." Could you show your family how to play this game at home?
This afternoon we had science and explored different ways to classify animals by sorting them into the following categories: mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, and birds. Ask me all about this! Then we talked about the difference between domesticated and wild animals, and did a chart in our visual journals. What does domesticated and wild mean? What different types of animals would be domesticated? Which would be wild? It was a great day, we will see you tomorrow!

Reminders:
- There will be no school for students this coming Friday (May 19th), and Monday (May 22nd).
