Hello Parents!
We are going to be starting a "Read to the Class" program next week! This program encourages the children to share their favorite books with their peers, and read to the class. Each child will have certain days that they are scheduled to bring a book, similar to the Tell and Show Program. We have a few criteria to go with this, and they are:
-the reading is 5 minutes or less
-the story is appropriate for the class
-the reader reads smoothly with no stops or pauses
-the reader uses good expression to make the reading interesting
We will set a schedule for your child's day to share, and let you know :)
Happy Reading!
