Dear Parents and Students of Evergreen,
Our school will be participating in a community walk to support the ALS Society of Alberta on Thursday, June 1, 2017. This is a cause that has directly impacted our school this year. Approximately 3 000 Canadians live with ALS. There is no known cause or cure for this devastating disease - yet.
All proceeds from our walk will stay in Alberta to make each day the best possible day for people living with and affected by ALS. Please use the link below if you would like to make an online donation.

We thank you for your support!
Today:
-we continued working with 10 frames in math message.
-we had 1 daily 5.
-we continued our rough copies of our comics. This is a real challenge for us. Some of us started our big good copies.
-we exchanged our books in the learning commons.
-we watched a movie about animal groups (classifications). We learned the different types of animals: insects/aracnids, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and fish. We learned about the things they have in common that make them that type of animal group. We looked through our books to decide what animal group our animal belongs to and why. We will continue this tomorrow.
-we had gym.
-we read chapter 9 in the Land of Stories. Ask me what happened.
