Evergreen for ALS
Our Kick-Off Walk for ALS will be this Thursday, June 1st @ 1:00pm. Our entire school community will be out in full force to raise awareness for ALS and to support our teacher and friend, Mrs. Y. All proceeds from our walk will stay in Alberta to make each day the best possible day for people living with and affected by ALS. Please use the link below if you would like to make an online donation. Cash donations are always welcome! Please remember to wear a PURPLE shirt (green or white if you don't have purple)

Dear families,
We had a busy Monday. During Morning meeting we collected some data about what dessert students like better, cake or chocolate. Cake was the clear winner. Ask me what other kinds of questions we could ask to collect data.
During our Daily Five literacy centres, we had a new poem to look for our popcorn words in. Ask me which literacy choices I made today.
During Math time the students worked on completing their 3D Shape books, and writing their own addition and subtraction word problems.
During writing today we worked on our weekend writing. Ask me what part of the weekend I wrote about.
After lunch we talked about living and non-living things. The students completed a chart to show if things were living or non-living.
We ended our day with gym. Ask me what we played on gym today.
Have a wonderful evening.
