Dear Families,
During morning meeting we talked about our ALS walk. Tomorrow we talk more about ALS and read a picture book that was donated to our school from the ALS Society of Alberta.
During Daily Five we talked about poetry and how we could write a poem using our 5 senses. We will continue to explore this tomorrow.
We had gym this morning. Ask me what we did in gym today.
In Math today we spent some time thinking about how knowing an addition equation could help us to figure out a subtraction equation. Ask me how I use addition to help me with subtraction.
The student created addition and subtraction word problems. We are getting really good at these.
After lunch we worked on our Ugly Duckling comic strip retelling. Ask me what main events I included in my comic strip.
In Science today we reviewed what we learned yesterday about living and non living things. Then we created a journal page using pictures from magazines. Ask me to notice living and non living things around our house/neighbourhood.
Please see the notice below about the ALS walk on June 1sth
Have a wonderful evening.
