We started our day off with morning meeting and Daily Five. The students are working hard during our literacy time to learn new sight words, read smoothly and write more. Ask me Daily Five choices I worked on today.
During our writing time we began to generate our ideas for our own fractured fairy tale. The students generated an idea for a Goldilocks and the Three Bears type story. Today their task was to begin to get their ideas out.
The students needed to complete the following sentences:

Ask me what my story is going to be about.
We will get a chance to share our story ideas tomorrow.
In Math Mrs. Predikas class worked on on a page called All About 20. The students had to demonstrate thier understanding of addition and subtraction up to twenty.
For example some students wrote the following addition and subtraction sentneces:
14+6=20 20-9=11
Ask me how many different equations I made.
After lunch we had a little more time to work on our Math, and then we had time for ketchup.
Ask me what things I needed to work on in Ketchup time.
After ketchup time we had snack and got ready for gym.
Ask me how tennis is going. I think we are really getting the hand of tennis.
