We still need lots more tin cans for our bee homes next week, so please continue to send them in. Ms. Keir has enough volunteers for her class, but Mrs. Byciuk still needs 2 more. Please email her if you can come on the field trip and have your clearance. Good News! We earned our popcorn party. We will be having our party on Wednesday June 8th in the afternoon. Students are welcome to wear their pjs and bring a stuffy! Bike to school day is on Tuesday June 7th. Students are welcome to ride their bikes to school. Bikes can be locked up along the schoolyard fences! Looking for volunteers for the evacuation walk on June 21 and Mudder volunteers on June 27. Let me know if you have any questions.

Can you believe that our grocery stores would look like this? Scary!!
Today:
-we started a new math message. We had to make the number 12, using a bunch of different numbers. We could add, subtract and make double digits.
-we were given a quote by Einstein "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have 4 years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."
We wrote what we thought of the quote and how it made us feel.
-we got to go and play outside.
-we had silent reading.
-we had Social Studies. Mrs. Byciuk's class made Inukshuk's with Ms. Keir. They learned how to juggle. Ms. Keir's class went to learn about the Acadians with Ms. Goodwin. Ask me what I did.
