Please continue to send in 1 litre milk cartons. Mrs. Byciuk is looking for one volunteer to helping with pickling on Monday afternoon 12:30-2:30. If a parent is able to help out, please email Mrs. Byciuk.
Today:
-we worked with an abacus in math message.
-we wrote the next part of our Hank story. Mrs. Byciuk introduced us to an editing checklist that we can use when rereading our writing.
-we had gym with Ms. Keir.
-Ms. Keir read us the book The Math Curse. Math is everywhere. We solved some problems in the book together. Ask me about this.
-we continued our work in Social Studies about homes. Mrs. Byciuk's group watched some of Little House on the Prairie when the family built their first home and barn. They painted their log houses. Ms. Keir's group worked on a drawing of an igloo. They looked at the book "Out the Window" and began writing about what they could see out the window of the igloo.
-we read some of Witches.
