Math homework due tomorrow, "Where do we see math in our house?"
Today:
-we had music
-we changed subtraction sentences to addition sentences in math message.
-we had spelling groups.
-we made words in our word work groups.
-we started our Social Studies groups. Ms. Keir's class worked with her on learning about the Inuit. They wrote about what they knew and what they wondered about the Inuit. They watched some videos about early Inuit life. Mrs. Byciuk taught her class about pioneers. They watched a few minutes of Little House on the prairie and talked about pioneers moving from Eastern Canada and Europe to come to Western Canada. Ask me how they got there? Mrs. Byciuk's class started making a poster to convince the "pioneers" to come to Western Canada. Did you know that people were offered free land to come here?
