Tomorrow is our field trip! We will be leaving first thing in the morning, so students must be on time. Volunteers are welcome to come at 8:00 with their children. If you are driving or getting a ride down, please stop by in the morning for your package with map, group and schedule. We are aiming to be at Bar U ranch for 9:15 or 9:30. Please send students dressed for the weather (it is supposed to rain) in layers. Students should bring a lunch and snacks as well as a water bottle in a back pack. Bug spray/sunscreen can be put on at home and can be sent (optional).
Did you know? Honeybees have 2 stomachs, used for carrying extra pollen back to the hive.
Today:
-we had music.
-in wonderopolis, we learned about the "Ice Man". Ask me what this means. It was so interesting!
-we worked on our Chicken Soup poem for May.
-we went over the math problem from yesterday, solving it together. We were given a similar problem as a challenge. We found it very challenging. We need to show all of our thinking and persevere through challenges.
-we silent read.
-we had gym with Mrs. Rowarth.
-we read "Flight of the Honey Bee". Ask me some things we learned from the book.
