Today:
-Mr. Fred took us to the Boiler Room. We learned so much about how the school is heated. There are 22 thermometers in the Boiler Room. There are different temperatures. Ask me why.
-we did math message.
-we had double digit adding practice. Some of us worked with Ms. Keir on regrouping and some of us worked with Mrs. Byciuk to practice.
-we had silent reading.
-we had Social Studies: Ms. Keir's group learned about Pangea and worked on a map of Pangea. We had to show how the Inuit came to North America. Ask me what Pangea is. Mrs. Byciuk's group looked at examples of posters encouraging people from Europe to come to Canada. We learned that even though people were given 160 acres and land, there were 3 rules that had to be followed. Ask me what they were. We completed our own posters. We pretended that we were trying to get people to come to Western Canada. This will be our 2nd artifact in our trunks.
