Canstruction
Our grade four design team is just about ready to begin their Canstruction® project on Tuesday afternoon for the Calgary Food Bank. This year’s theme is nature. The grade 4 design team has decided to extend their learning about the regions of Alberta and build a model of the Rocky Mountains. They have already received a number of colour specific donations for their creation. At this time they are still looking for donations of cans or boxes, specifically withbrown/black/grey, green and blue coloured labels.
All food donations are gratefully accepted and can be dropped off at the school office anytime up until Tuesday at noon. Thank you for your support of this project which in turn will go to support needy Calgarians.
HIGHLIGHTS:
-Today we worked on our writing, ask me what I wrote about
-Today we discussed the words past, present and future and looked at pictures from the past, ask me how a clue is different then a conclusion
-Mrs. Leonard's class tested their prototypes, ask me what worked and what I would change next time
-Ms. Goodwin's class played silent soccer, ask me what the rules are
-Mrs. Leonard's class worked on art and math centers, ask me what I learned in math today
-Today we practiced our WInter Musical, ask me what I still need to practice
-Today we filled backpacks for Stephen's backpack, thank you grade 2's for raising money through the used toy/book sale
REMINDERS:
-Please dress for the weather, we go out and play everyday unless it is colder than -20.
